We are pleased to be contributing to the “Taxiarches” project, a 100MW / 400MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) currently under development in the Region of Thessaly, Greece.
The project is owned by ContourGlobal, a well-established Independent Power Producer with extensive experience in the development, construction, and operation of power generation and energy storage assets across Europe, North and South America, as well as a growing presence in Africa and Asia.
As part of the project execution, our team has been appointed as Owner’s Engineer for this stand-alone energy storage facility, providing technical advisory services and independent engineering oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle. Our role focuses on ensuring technical excellence, compliance with project specifications, and optimal execution across all stages of development and construction.
The “Taxiarches” project represents a significant investment in strengthening grid stability and enabling the further integration of renewable energy sources, supporting the transition toward a more sustainable energy future.
